Website, Brand Design & Copywriting
We were approached by Eaton Square to create a strong brand identity that would position them in the market as a premium supplier of luxury flooring. We rolled this new identity out across printed and digital media with an image-led website to showcase their craftsmanship.
I was the senior designer on this project and led the design of their new brand and presence.
The new website followed the refreshed brand identity I had designed with the team at Wordcomm. I wanted to keep the site clear and uncluttered, as the old site was overwhelming for the user. The main goal was to not overwhelm the user with too many options throughout their journey.
The product page featured an overview of the three types of planks. I designed icons for each of these.
The product images were then highlighted each colour, grade and finish. A filter was created for the grades too. Upon selecting a specific product, a panel would reveal a larger image with more info on the spec of the wood. A CTA would link you to a form or a number to call for more information
The icon for the logo was created to represent a tile from a pattern you might find on a luxurious carpet. It was made up of interlinking E's.
The colour palette is rich, yet muted enough to let Eaton Square's products stand out. I opted for a pairing of two serif typefaces to keep with their heritage.
